About
(they/them)
I am drawn to messy situations and narratives that dramatise the complex task of understanding oneself; stories that play out the risk and joy at stake in pursuits for connection. I am fuelled by collaborative processes with professional and non-professional performers and makers.
Previously, I was Trainee Assistant Director at the Manchester Royal Exchange theatre; and co-director of Spellbound Theatrical Productions - a company which worked with charities to engage communities through creativity, and stage theatrical events that fundraise for important causes.
Currently, I am developing 'PUBLIC: The Musical' as part of musical theatre collective, Stroud & Notes (winner of the 2023 Charlie Hartill Reserve, VAULT Origins Award and Runner Up of the BBC Popcorn Prize) and have supported '42 Balloons' (WhatsOnStage Nominee for Best New Musical and Best Regional Production) as Associate Director, and 'Diary of a Gay Disaster' (WhatsOnStage Winner for Best Studio Production) as Dramaturg.
I am a script reader for the Bruntwood Prize, and have also read for the Hope Mill Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.
